Welcome to Umborne Bridge Studio: art gallery, shop, nature journaling centre and creative teaching space managed by Anna Brewster and Alex Boon. This term we are welcoming guest tutor Alison Bowskill, who will be providing a range of fun and friendly craft classes.
We are located by the riverside in the beautiful historic old town of Colyton, with free parking and a bus stop right outside the door and the tram station just a short stroll down the road.

Meet the artists
Anna Brewster
Anna's work is expressive, fast and loose, whether it’s mixed media landscapes, or ink and wash studies of flowers and food. She mainly works with watercolour and layers on top, and her work is for sale via her website, the studio and Pebble Gallery in Budleigh Salterton.
Alex Boon
Alex is a nature journaling educator and artist, best known for making intricate nature journals and inspiring nature connection. He has written two books on drawing nature, and has been a guest lecturer at the Wild Wonder Foundation annual event. Alex also runs the Nature Journaling Circle.
